Pakistan, July 23 -- US President Donald Trump threatened Yemen's Houthi rebels with major military punishment after attacks on oil tankers in the Red Sea. He said the United States would hold Iran responsible for actions by the Iran-aligned group. The warning came amid rising regional tensions.
In a statement on Truth Social, Trump said the Houthis were acting as a proxy of Iran. He warned that further attacks would result in military consequences for both Iran and the Houthis. The statement followed recent missile and drone strikes on shipping vessels.
