Pakistan, Jan. 19 -- U.S. President Donald Trump warned Denmark that it has failed to remove the Russian threat from Greenland. He said, "Now it is time, and it will be done." Trump stressed that NATO has repeatedly urged Denmark to secure Greenland from foreign threats for the past 20 years.

Trump emphasized Greenland's strategic importance amid Russian and Chinese activities in the Arctic region. He claimed the island is vital to U.S. security interests. Denmark and Greenland leaders, however, insist Greenland is not for sale and will remain autonomous. Trump also threatened tariffs on European allies if the U.S. is denied access to Greenland.
