Pakistan, Sept. 22 -- US President Donald Trump said Iran could agree to a deal after the US election. He made the remarks during his address to the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

Trump said he had remained firm against allowing Iran to develop nuclear weapons. He claimed Tehran rejected his offer of economic cooperation in return for ending its nuclear programme and support for militant groups.

According to Trump, Iran also rejected an agreement after US and Israeli strikes targeted Iranian nuclear facilities. He said Tehran later expanded its missile and drone stockpiles. Trump also claimed Iran continued efforts to develop nuclear weapons....
