Pakistan, Oct. 3 -- US President Donald Trump's senior national security team met privately at Camp David. The officials discussed the Iran war and the Saudi-Houthi conflict in Yemen. The meeting lasted several hours and focused on possible next steps, according to three US officials cited by Axios.

Vice President JD Vance chaired the undisclosed meeting, the officials said. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth attended the gathering. Special envoy Steve Witkoff, CIA chief John Ratcliffe and Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Dan Caine also participated.
