U.S. President Donald Trump said Tuesday that the United States will not deploy troops on the ground in Ukraine but may provide air support as part of a peace deal.
Trump made the remarks a day after promising security guarantees at a White House summit, while details of the military assistance the U.S. might offer to Ukraine remain uncertain.
"When it comes to security, we can help, especially by air," Trump said in a Fox News interview, though he did not provide specifics, later calling his approach "instinct more than process."
