Pakistan, May 12 -- US President Donald Trump has reportedly called a national security meeting to review the evolving situation with Iran, as tensions between the two countries continue to escalate following fragile ceasefire efforts.

According to US media reports, senior administration officials are expected to attend the high-level meeting, where possible next steps regarding Iran, including military and diplomatic options, are likely to be discussed.
