Pakistan, Sept. 2 -- The 1st Meinhardt Grade A+ National Ranking Tennis Championships continued at the PTF Tennis Complex, Islamabad, on Tuesday, with leading national players advancing in their respective events.

In the Men's Singles first round, Saqib Hayat defeated Aqil Khan 6-1, 6-1, while M. Haziq Aasim beat Haziq Areejo 6-1, 6-1. Mudassir Murtaza overcame Razik Sultan 6-2, 6-0, and Aqeel Khan defeated Ahmad Babar 6-2, 6-2. Muzammil Murtaza also advanced with a 6-3, 6-0 victory over Ahmad Chudary. In the Men's Doubles first round, Shehryar Anees and M. Hamza Aasim defeated Hamza Rehmat and Uzair Khan 6-3, 6-2.
