Pakistan, July 24 -- Gold prices in Pakistan declined for the second consecutive day on Friday, with the price of the precious metal witnessing a significant drop in both local and international markets.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold fell by Rs4,600 per tola, bringing the new rate to Rs427,436 per tola across the country.

The price of 10 grams of gold also registered a notable decline, falling by Rs3,944 to Rs366,457. The continued downward trend follows another sharp decrease recorded a day earlier, when the per-tola price dropped by Rs1,800.
