Pakistan, Sept. 7 -- In Part I of the same title, "The Evolving Strategic Landscape-I", published in the Daily Times, I argued that "the strategic landscape has been evolving at a rapid pace, particularly since the US' withdrawal from Afghanistan in August 2020. The events which have taken place since then cannot be replicated at any other time." In this short article, I will continue to highlight the significance of the evolving strategic landscape due to ever-increasing wars and conflicts since the US's withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2020. I intend to relate the US' withdrawal from Afghanistan to the breakup of the Soviet Union. The events marked the end of the Cold War between the two superpowers of the time, the US and the USSR.
