Pakistan, Sept. 23 -- Taylor Swift is adding another trophy to an already crowded shelf - but this one puts the spotlight on what she does behind the camera.

The 14-time Grammy winner will receive the MTV Video Music Awards' first-ever Artist-Director Award, a newly created honour celebrating musicians whose work behind the lens has shaped music videos and visual storytelling.

MTV and CBS said the award "celebrates a sustained and influential body of work from artists who have pushed creative boundaries and developed a clear directorial voice."

Swift has already made her mark in the director's chair, earning seven VMA Best Director nominations and winning the category four times. Her credits include The Fate of Ophelia, Opalite and Ant...
