Pakistan, July 26 -- Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar said authorities have arrested a suspect allegedly linked to an India-based digital influence network accused of spreading misinformation and anti-state content in Pakistan. Speaking at a press conference in Islamabad, he said investigators traced payments for social media promotion to India through digital payment gateways. According to the minister, the investigation uncovered a coordinated online campaign that targeted state institutions, the government, the armed forces, and the army chief.
