Pakistan, April 27 -- New details have emerged about the suspect involved in a shooting incident linked to a White House Correspondents' Dinner event, with authorities revealing that he sent a message to his family shortly before carrying out the attack.

According to US officials, the suspect, Cole Thomas Allen, sent a message approximately 10 minutes before the incident on Saturday night.
