Pakistan, Nov. 7 -- Sahibzada Hamid Raza, Chairman of the Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC), was presented before the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Faisalabad on Friday. The former member of the National Assembly had been sentenced to 10 years in prison in connection with the May 9 case. He was arrested by Islamabad police while traveling from Peshawar to Faisalabad.

Hamid Raza's sentencing was handed down on July 31, alongside several Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders, including Omar Ayub, Shibli Faraz, and Zartaj Gul.
