Pakistan, July 31 -- Coordinator to the Prime Minister Rana Ihsan Afzal Khan on Wednesday informed that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has issued uncompromising directives to the committee under the Ministry of Food Security to conduct an urgent and comprehensive review of the sugar sector and enforce stringent monitoring mechanisms without delay.

While in an exclusive conversation with a local news channel coordinator to PM stated that the government is actively monitoring the sugar sector amid a climate-induced shortfall, with swift corrective measures expected in the coming days.
