Internet services in Pakistan faced disruption on Saturday after submarine cables suffered cuts near Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) confirmed the issue in an official statement, warning users about possible slowdowns.
According to PTCL, the cuts reduced bandwidth capacity on two major systems - SMW4 and IMEWE. As a result, users across the country may notice slower browsing, especially during peak hours. The situation raised concerns among businesses, students, and regular internet users.
