Pakistan, July 4 -- Outgoing British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has defended the significant amount of time he devoted to foreign affairs during his tenure, arguing that his successor will face similar demands as global challenges continue to shape domestic priorities.

In an interview with the BBC, Starmer rejected suggestions that Britain's next prime minister could spend less time on diplomacy and instead concentrate primarily on domestic issues. He said foreign and domestic policy are closely interconnected in an increasingly unstable international environment.
