Pakistan, Aug. 1 -- A case has been registered against six police officials over the alleged killing of a young man in a police encounter in Jacobabad. The action followed protests by the victim's family. Sindh Police chief ordered notice of the incident.
According to police, a case was registered at Miranpur Police Station on the complaint of Ali Haider's brother. The FIR names six officials, including Fighter Two in-charge Wahid Chandio and other personnel. Police said further investigation is underway.
