Pakistan, Aug. 27 -- Six Flags Magic Mountain is facing a wrongful death lawsuit after a 22-year-old man suffered fatal head injuries following a ride on the X2 roller coaster. Christopher Hawley, a San Diego State University graduate, reportedly collapsed after riding the attraction with his brother and cousin. He died the following day from blunt-force head trauma.

The lawsuit was filed by Hawley's family and alleges that injuries suffered on the ride caused his death. Medical officials attributed his injuries to shaken baby syndrome. The X2 attraction has faced safety concerns for years because its rotating seats and rapid movements place riders through intense forces.
