Pakistan, Oct. 22 -- The Government of Sindh has decided to further strengthen and enhance the effectiveness of its media campaign for polio eradication, with a particular focus on raising awareness among parents and the general public about the importance of administering polio drops to children.

The decision was taken at a follow-up meeting of the Provincial Task Force, chaired by Sindh Secretary Information Kashif Gulzar Sheikh. The meeting was attended by Director General Information Sindh Muhammad Yousuf Kaboro, along with representatives of the Health Department, Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI) Sindh, and UNICEF.
