Pakistan, June 23 -- Sindh reported one positive environmental sample for the polio virus out of 29 tested in June. The result was confirmed by the Sindh Emergency Operations Centre in Karachi East. The development highlights ongoing monitoring efforts to eliminate polio in the province.

According to officials, 21 samples tested negative while seven are still under analysis. The only positive detection came from Karachi East, with no other area reporting the virus. Authorities said the findings reflect improved containment across Sindh.
