KARACHI, June 15 -- Sindh Police has initiated a major modernisation drive, with plans to introduce artificial intelligence-based systems, drone operation units and specialised cybercrime teams to enhance law enforcement capabilities across the province.

According to officials, Sindh Inspector General of Police Javed Alam Odho has constituted a committee tasked with reviewing reforms aimed at aligning the provincial police force with modern policing requirements.

The committee is headed by Additional IG Establishment and Training Iqbal Dara and includes senior police officers from various departments, including establishment, investigation, finance and operations.
