Pakistan, June 1 -- Spokesperson for the Government of Sindh, Sukhdev Hemnani, has said that the provincial government is actively considering a range of relief measures for workers, low-income families and other underprivileged segments in the upcoming provincial budget, including a substantial increase in the minimum wage.
He said that as per the instructions of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to provide maximum relief to the masses, efforts are underway to create maximum fiscal space for meaningful public relief while maintaining fiscal discipline.
