Pakistan, Oct. 8 -- In a major step toward citizen facilitation, the Sindh government has abolished all fees for obtaining death certificates across the province. The decision, approved in a recent cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, aims to make the process completely free for citizens at the municipal, union council, and town committee levels. The provincial government will now bear all service charges previously collected by NADRA, ensuring no financial burden falls on grieving families seeking official documentation.
