Karachi, Aug. 9 -- The Sindh Assembly unanimously approved a bill to increase the salaries and allowances of its members. The bill was presented by the Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister, Zia ul Hasan Lanjari, during the recent session chaired by Speaker Syed Owais Qadir Shah. Members from both government and opposition supported the bill, which passed with full consensus.

The bill was first approved by the Sindh Cabinet on August 7 and later moved to the assembly for final approval. The new law ensures that members from all parties benefit equally from the salary and allowance increases. It also grants them many new perks and privileges.
