Pakistan, March 17 -- The Sindh government has given in-principle approval to a Rs100 billion master plan aimed at transforming Civil Hospital Karachi into a modern healthcare facility, marking a significant step toward improving medical infrastructure in the provincial capital.
Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah chaired a high-level meeting at the Chief Minister's House where the proposal was discussed and endorsed. The provincial government has also approved an initial grant of Rs50 billion to kickstart the ambitious project, with work on the Abdul Sattar Edhi Medical Tower expected to begin immediately.
