Pakistan, Aug. 5 -- Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif directed authorities to adopt a comprehensive strategy for Discos' privatisation on Wednesday. He also ordered the Privatisation Commission's restructuring within one month to attract international investors and improve Pakistan's power sector.

According to the Prime Minister's Office, Shehbaz stressed transparent procedures and timely completion of every privatisation stage. He instructed officials to protect consumers' interests and follow international best practices throughout the process.
