Pakistan, Sept. 25 -- Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met Prince Rahim Aga Khan V in New York. The meeting took place during the 81st United Nations General Assembly session. Shehbaz welcomed the Aga Khan and praised his continued cooperation with Pakistan.

The prime minister also recalled their meeting during Prince Rahim Aga Khan's visit to Pakistan earlier this year. He appreciated the prince's commitment to maintaining Pakistan's longstanding friendly relationship with the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN). He also welcomed continued cooperation for peace, stability, and development.
