Pakistan, April 23 -- The National Disaster Management Authority has issued a nationwide alert warning that a severe heatwave will affect large parts of the country, including Karachi, until May 5. Authorities have urged citizens and institutions to take immediate precautionary steps as extreme temperatures continue to rise across multiple regions.

According to the alert, southern regions such as Sindh, southern Punjab, and parts of Balochistan will experience the most severe heat conditions. Major cities including Hyderabad, Sukkur, Larkana, Bahawalpur, Multan, and Turbat are expected to remain under prolonged high temperatures.
