Pakistan, Oct. 10 -- The Senate session was adjourned indefinitely on Friday after a combination of road blockages and widespread lawmaker absences disrupted proceedings.

Presided over by Senator Manzoor Ahmed Kakar, the session was expected to address critical national concerns, including the ongoing flood crisis, but the absence of key members derailed the agenda.

The sitting began with the suspension of the Question and Answer session, as Senator Kakar announced that limited time would instead be devoted to the pressing flood situation.
