Pakistan, Oct. 10 -- GILGIT - Security forces recovered a large cache of weapons during a search operation conducted Thursday night in Gilgit, officials confirmed.
According to Gilgit-Baltistan Inspector General (IG) Muhammad Afzal Butt, the operation was launched following information provided by under-custody outlaws.
The recovered arms include rocket launchers, light machine guns (LMGs), Kalashnikov rifles, 9mm pistols, and thousands of rounds of ammunition.
