Pakistan, April 24 -- Security forces carried out a major intelligence-based operation in Khyber District, resulting in the killing of 22 militants during a coordinated action conducted earlier this week, according to the military's media wing.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated that the operation was launched on April 21 following confirmed intelligence regarding the presence of armed militants in the area. A fierce exchange of fire took place between security forces and the suspects during the raid.
