Pakistan, Sept. 25 -- State Bank of Pakistan (SBP)-held foreign exchange reserves increased by $11 million during the week ended September 18, 2026, reaching $21.4 billion, according to data released by the central bank on Thursday.

The country's total liquid foreign reserves stood at $26.81 billion as of September 18, compared with $21.4 billion held by the SBP and $5.41 billion held by commercial banks.

The breakdown showed that foreign reserves held by the SBP stood at $21,400.3 million, while net foreign reserves held by commercial banks amounted to $5,410.3 million. The central bank said, "During the week ended on 18-Sep-2026, SBP's FX reserves increased by US$ 11 million to US$ 21,400.3 million," the central bank added.
