Pakistan, Aug. 11 -- The State Bank of Pakistan has projected economic growth between 3.5 and 4.5 percent during fiscal year 2027.

The central bank issued its August 2026 Half-Year Monetary Policy Report, assessing Pakistan's economic performance and future outlook.

According to the report, Pakistan's fiscal year 2026 economic outcomes remained broadly in line with expectations. However, Middle East tensions increased energy, freight and insurance costs.

The SBP said cautious monetary policy helped contain second-round effects from higher energy prices. It added that inflation expectations remained under control.
