Pakistan, Oct. 20 -- Newly appointed Saudi Ambassador Dr Rajeh Tami Albugamy called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) and Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, at General Headquarters (GHQ) on Monday.

During the meeting, matters of mutual interest and regional security dynamics were discussed, said a press release issued by ISPR.

Both the dignitaries expressed satisfaction over the progress made under the framework of the Makkah pact and underscored the importance of strengthening defence collaboration, institutional linkages and strategic coordination.
