RIYADH, Sept. 2 -- Saudi Arabia said an Iranian attack on an oil tanker killed two Filipino sailors. The incident occurred while the vessel crossed the Strait of Hormuz. Saudi shipping company Bahri owns the tanker, named Sidr. The company said the security incident happened at 11:40 local time on Monday. Sidr was one of two Saudi oil tankers reportedly hit that day. Saudi authorities condemned the attack and called for an end to further escalation.
