Pakistan, June 3 -- New Zealand all-rounder Mitchell Santner has revealed that Mumbai Indians paid only half of his agreed Indian Premier League contract after he was ruled out due to a shoulder injury. He expressed disappointment over the reduced payment and said the situation became difficult during an already challenging recovery period.
Furthermore, Santner stated that his IPL contract was worth around INR 20 million, but he only received half of the agreed amount after his injury. He explained that the decision surprised him because the injury occurred while he was actively participating in the tournament.
