Pakistan, Sept. 10 -- Sam Darnold is awaiting an MRI after suffering a right hip injury during Seattle's 13-10 win over New England. The Seahawks quarterback left the game early after Patriots defensive lineman Dre'Mont Jones brought him down on a sack. Darnold entered the medical tent before doctors sent him to Harborview Medical Center for further tests.

Initial X-rays and a CT scan ruled out a fracture, giving Seattle encouraging news. Coach Mike Macdonald said doctors had confirmed that Darnold did not suffer a broken bone. However, the CT scan could not determine the full extent of the injury, so doctors scheduled an MRI for Thursday.
