Pakistan, May 3 -- Sajid Ali Sadpara has successfully summited Mount Makalu, the world's fifth-highest mountain, marking another major achievement in his high-altitude climbing career. He reached the summit early in the morning at around 5 a.m., completing a demanding expedition in extreme weather and challenging terrain.
Mount Makalu, standing at 8,485 metres above sea level, is located in the Mahalangur Himalayan range in Nepal near the China-Nepal border. The peak lies close to Mount Everest and is widely known for its steep ridges, technical difficulty, and unpredictable weather conditions that challenge even experienced climbers.
