Pakistan, Aug. 6 -- Russia launched a large-scale missile and drone attack on Kyiv and surrounding areas on Wednesday, killing at least 21 people and injuring more than 45. Ukrainian officials warned that the death toll could rise as rescue teams searched collapsed buildings.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, Russia fired 24 ballistic missiles, four anti-ship missiles, and 115 drones during the assault. Officials said air defence systems intercepted 98 drones, but several missiles and drones reached their targets.
