Pakistan, June 9 -- At least four people were killed and 10 others injured after Russian strikes hit Ukraine's northeastern Kharkiv region, local officials said on Tuesday, as fighting between the two countries continued with no immediate signs of easing.

Kharkiv regional governor Oleg Synegubov said the attacks targeted the city of Chuguiv, where four people, including a 22-year-old woman, lost their lives. He added that the strikes caused extensive damage to civilian infrastructure, sparking fires and affecting residential neighbourhoods.
