Pakistan, Aug. 29 -- Russia has successfully tested a mobile intercontinental ballistic missile during military exercises, according to the Defence Ministry. The launch took place at the Plesetsk Cosmodrome in northwestern Russia. Russian Strategic Missile Forces conducted the test using a solid-fuel missile system. The test comes amid continued tensions involving Russia and Ukraine.

Before the launch, Russian forces deployed a mobile launcher battery in a remote area. They then fired the missile toward the Kura test site on the Kamchatka Peninsula.
