Pakistan, April 22 -- Israel's Foreign Ministry has confirmed that around 40 Israeli nationals were briefly detained during passport control at Moscow's Domodedovo Airport. The incident has added tension to already strained regional dynamics involving Israel, Russia, and Iran-linked geopolitical alignments.

According to reports, the passengers were held for about five hours and questioned by Russian authorities. The group included children and dual nationals. Officials also inspected mobile phones and asked questions related to the ongoing Iran-Israel conflict.
