Pakistan, April 21 -- The Rupee on Monday appreciated by 1 paisa against the US Dollar in interbank trading and closed at Rs 278.91 compared to the previous day's closing of Rs 278.92. According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of the Dollar in the open market were recorded at Rs 279.00 and Rs 279.95, respectively. The price of the Euro against the rupee decreased by Rs 0.65 paisa to close at Rs 327.99 from the previous day's close of Rs 328.64, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP). The Japanese Yen remained unchanged and closed at Rs 1.75, whereas the exchange rate of the British Pound witnessed a decrease of Rs 0.57 and closed at Rs 376.51 compared to the previous day's Rs 377.08.
