Pakistan, Aug. 8 -- Pakistani actor Rubina Ashraf has urged families to show greater compassion toward women facing mental health challenges during pregnancy and after childbirth.

Speaking on a show, Ashraf said pregnancy-related anxiety and postpartum depression were real issues. She said society had often ignored these problems in the past. The actor stressed that families must better understand the emotional changes women experience during pregnancy.
