Pakistan, Jan. 5 -- During routine monitoring, the Bank identified certain irregular Credit Card transactions and immediately initiated an internal review. The review established that the transactions arose due to a temporary technical glitch in the credit card system which enabled a certain number of Banks' existing customers to execute un-authorized transactions.
These customers, as reported in a section of media, were not specific to any particular government scheme or program, including the Asaan Karobar Card, and impacted a specific set of credit card holders of the bank in general.
