RAWALPINDI, Jan. 27 -- The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has initiated strict legal proceedings against Faisal Town Housing Scheme over multiple violations of approved regulations, officials said on Monday.

An RDA spokesperson confirmed that a First Information Report (FIR) has been lodged at Airport Police Station against the owner of Faisal Town and other members of its management team. During the operation, the police arrested the owner's brother in connection with the case.

The violations cited by the RDA include failure to commence development of a sewerage treatment plant, non-allotment of 53 plots within the scheme, and neglect in developing the designated nullah. These...
