Pakistan, Aug. 22 -- The killing of a woman in Rawalpindi has sparked strong reactions across social media. Police identified the victim as Hina Javed from the Lalkurti area. The incident occurred within the Civil Lines police station limits. Police said Hina had married nine months ago. Authorities found her body inside a bathroom at her home.

According to the first information report, police found Hina's hands tied behind her back. A piece of cloth also covered her mouth when authorities discovered her body. Police have arrested two suspects in connection with the case. The suspects include Hina's husband and a domestic worker. Police also named her father-in-law in the case but have not arrested him.
