Pakistan, Jan. 21 -- Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal is reportedly joining Ranveer Singh in the sequel to the hit film Dhurandhar. He is expected to reprise his role as Major Vihaan Singh Shergill from the 2019 film Uri: The Surgical Strike. The sequel is directed by Aditya Dhar and is slated for release on March 19, 2026.

Following Dhurandhar's strong box-office performance, the filmmakers decided to expand the project into a cinematic universe. Reports indicate that the ensemble cast will also feature R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, and Arjun Rampal, with Akshaye Khanna appearing in brief flashback sequences.
