QUETTA, July 19 -- The Balochistan government is actively working to improve public transport services in Quetta by increasing the number of pink buses for women and green buses for general commuters. To move forward with this plan, the province's Secretary of Transport has traveled abroad to finalize the purchase of new buses, officials confirmed.

Last fiscal year, the government allocated funds in the budget to add four more green buses to serve the city's residents and four pink buses dedicated exclusively for women passengers. However, despite the announcement, the project faced delays and the buses have not yet arrived after nearly a year.
