Pakistan, Nov. 7 -- Authorities in Quetta have closed major roads and suspended mobile and internet services ahead of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Tehreek-e-Tahafuz-e-Aeen Pakistan rally, citing heightened security concerns.

The district administration has imposed Section 144 across the province, banning public gatherings for a month. Despite these restrictions, PTI has insisted on holding the rally to demonstrate support for constitutional supremacy and democratic rights.

Road closures have caused significant disruption for residents, particularly students trying to reach schools and colleges. Main roads and intersections have become heavily congested, leaving commuters stranded for hours.
